Transcript:

Charles: Brother, might be time for us to take a walk to the barber shop. Or I might start calling you Harry instead of John.

John: No need Charles. One of the ways I like to spend less is to avoid scissors more.

CW: (tosses hair around) What can it hurt to have fluffy, flowing locks like mine, bro?

JW: It's just something I feel I can do. Money is a gift from God and there are some really clear ways we can put it to the best use.

CW: Go on Scrooge, I mean John…

JW: Three ways to look at it: Earn all you can, save all you can, give all you can.

CW: Sounds simple but I bet there's more to it than that.

JW: Precisely. Earning money should not harm you or other people. If you hire people, you should pay them fairly. If you work, do your best.

CW: Most people don't like that Save idea, huh?

JW: Life is not all about "me" and money is not meant to spoil us (or our loved ones). Plus piggy banks are practical, admit it.

CW: I do love piggy banks.

JW: Look at it this way. Everything we have is on loan from God and whatever we invest in, should go to God's glory. So give!

CW: Alright, I'm going to give! But first, how about that new 'do?

Why is it important to earn all you can? How can you best use your gifts to "earn all you can"? What are some things no one should do to earn money?

Why is it important to save all you can? Are you good at saving money, or do you spend money as soon as you get it? What have you bought that you later regretted spending money on?

Why is it important to give all you can? How does our giving make a difference in the world? What is the best gift you have ever given someone?

In the video, John says, "Everything we have is on loan from God." What does he mean?
