Looking for simple ways to grow your faith every day? Here are three daily spiritual practices for United Methodists that may not take up much time but make a big difference!"

First up, Daily Bible Reading. Spending just a few minutes each day reading the Bible can help you stay connected to God’s word. Start with a favorite Psalm or follow a daily reading plan. Our friends at UpperRoom.org have several daily plans. Remember, it’s about quality, not quantity.

Next, Prayer and Meditation. Take a few moments each day to pray or meditate. You can use a prayer app, write in a prayer journal, or simply sit in silence, focusing on God’s presence. Rethink Church’s Instagram account often shares breath prayers, which can be done as you’re breathing. It’s a great way to center yourself and find peace.

And finally, Acts of Kindness. Find small ways to serve others daily. It could be as simple as a kind word, helping a neighbor, or picking up litter in your community. These acts reflect God’s love and grace in the world.

These practices are part of what we call 'The Means of Grace' in United Methodism – ways we experience God’s love and grow in our faith. They don’t require a lot of time, but they can transform your day.

Try incorporating these into your daily routine and see how they impact your life. Thanks for watching! For more tips and inspiration, follow us and visit umc.org.
