Kids at Our UM Table: Sinigang Na Hipon

Sinigang is a sour and savory Filipino soup made with meat or seafood (pork, beef, chicken, shrimp, or fish) and flavored with tamarind, tomatoes, onions, and other vegetables you have on hand.
Jaguar Pascual started cooking in 2023 at the age of three. Jodel Pascual says his son wanted to learn how to cook rice, and Jaguar’s interest in cooking took off from there. In this video, Jaguar shows us how to make sinigang na hipon which translates to “sour soup with shrimp.”
