In this guided meditation based on Psalm 46, take a few moments to be still and let yourself mentally go to a tranquil and serene space where you can feel close to God.

As you prepare for this time of connection with God, here are a few tips to help you move toward inner stillness.

1. Get comfortable by sitting down and settling into your chair.

2. Place both feet on the ground.

3. Get in touch with how you feel about growing closer to God.

4. Breathe deeply, in and out.

5. Close your eyes

A guided meditation can be a time to bring all of who you are into God's presence. Be still.
