Apportioned fund that provides for the expenses of administrative functions at the general level of the church. The fund helps to maintain a system of management oversight and fiscal accountability, underwrite the legislative work of General Conference, fund the work of the Judicial Council, maintain official documents and historical artifacts of The United Methodist Church and predecessor denominations, and designate historical church shrines, landmarks and sites.
