From 2018 to 2020, Cigna health reported an 18% rise in feelings of loneliness amongst Americans. How might the pandemic of 2020-2021 further affected that rising trend? It's likely our feelings or loneliness have greatly increased. How do we disrupt that trend? Luke Edwards suggests we disrupt loneliness by being creative in how we join together in community. Luke presents some fresh ideas for establishing connections through church.

Luke Edwards is the founder of King Street Church in Boone, North Carolina, and the Associate Director of Church Development for the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. In this role he has helped to found 83 fresh expressions of church. Luke also writes and works for a trainer for Fresh Expressions US
