Transcript:
Charles: Brother, might be time for us to take a walk to the barber shop. Or I might start calling you Harry instead of John.
John: No need Charles. One of the ways I like to spend less is to avoid scissors more.
CW: (tosses hair around) What can it hurt to have fluffy, flowing locks like mine, bro?
JW: It's just something I feel I can do. Money is a gift from God and there are some really clear ways we can put it to the best use.
CW: Go on Scrooge, I mean John…
JW: Three ways to look at it: Earn all you can, save all you can, give all you can.
CW: Sounds simple but I bet there's more to it than that.
JW: Precisely. Earning money should not harm you or other people. If you hire people, you should pay them fairly. If you work, do your best.
CW: Most people don't like that Save idea, huh?
JW: Life is not all about "me" and money is not meant to spoil us (or our loved ones). Plus piggy banks are practical, admit it.
CW: I do love piggy banks.
JW: Look at it this way. Everything we have is on loan from God and whatever we invest in, should go to God's glory. So give!
CW: Alright, I'm going to give! But first, how about that new 'do?
