Glossary: Human Relations Day

A special Sunday authorized by the General Conference to be observed with an offering taken throughout the denomination during the season of Epiphany on the Sunday before the observance of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday. Human Relations Day calls upon United Methodists to further the development of improved race relations.
