The agency that challenges United Methodists to work in areas of important social concern. This board works for the implementation of the Social Principles and other policy statements on social concerns of the General Conference. It develops resources to inform, motivate, and train United Methodists on issues of social justice in the society. Its offices are located in Washington,D.C.
